SOIL INVESTIGATIONS
From February 18th till March 18th, 2022, soil investigations in the fairway of the Suriname River from the approach to Dijkveld Bank and in the entrance of the Commewijne River will be conducted with the MV MARWINA. Drilling will take place at various points and soil samples will be collected.
The research area is indicated by the following coordinates:

During the operations, MV MARWINA will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
Shipping should approach MV MARWINA with caution and reduce speed when passing. The investigations will take place daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
