SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From the 29th of September till the 30th of November 2026, the research vessel San Jacinto II will conduct scientific research at forty-three to eighty-seven nautical miles (43 NM – 87 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the MV San Jacinto II will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels must maintain a safe distance of at least one and a half nautical mile (1.5 NM) from the MV San Jacinto II during the operation.
- Communication is through VHF channel 16
