ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SURINAME RIVER -PARANAM
SHIP TO SHIP TRANSFER

From the 16^th till 20^th September 2026, ship to ship transfer will take place near the Groot Chatillon anchorage, at position 05° 36′.889 N – 055° 04′.250 W (WGS 84). Gypsum in bulk will be transferred from the MV Louise to the pontoons KE1001, KE1004, KE1005, KE1006 and KE1007, with assistance from the tugboat Kuldipsingh 01 and push boat Kuldipsingh 02.

The vessels will be limited in maneuverability during this operation.

Communication is through VHF channels 12 and 16.

All ships should approach the above-mentioned area with the necessary caution and reduce speed when passing.
