OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SEISMIC RESEARCH
From July 10th, 2024 till January 31st, 2025 the survey vessel Sanco Star will conduct a seismic survey at sixty-four to one hundred nautical miles (64 – 100 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

For safety reasons vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the MV Sanco Star. The survey vessel will be supported by the MV Siddis Mariner, MV Atlantic Liberty and MV Atlantic Spirit.
Please note:
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the MV Sanco Star.
- During the operations the MV Sanco Star will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
