ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
CHART 2017
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SEISMIC RESEARCH

With reference to NtM NO.49/2024T, regarding the seismic research off the coast of Suriname, the public is informed that the survey will be conducted by the survey vessels MV Sanco Star and MV Siddis Mariner.

The support vessels that will assist during the operations are MV Atlantic Liberty and MV Atlantic Spirit.

Please note:

• Communication is through VHF channel 12.
• Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from MV Sanco Star and MV Siddis Mariner.
• During the operations MV Sanco Star and MV SIddis Mariner will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
