ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAMERIVER – NEAR REDI DOTI
SOIL RESEARCH

Due to the construction of the new Carolina Bridge, a soil research will take place on the Surinameriver near Redi Doti. The research will be conducted from Wednesday 12th till Sunday 16th February 2014. 

The survey area has the following coordinates (WGS’ 84):

1. 05° 25’.403 N – 054° 59’.041 W
2. 05° 25’.324 N – 054° 59’.227 W
3. 05° 25’.126 N – 054° 59’.034 W
4. 05° 25’.174 N – 054° 58’.941 W

The operation will be carried out from a barge and a tugboat.

All ships are requested to approach the above mentioned area with caution and to observe sailing instructions of the operator.
