OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH

From December 20th, 2021 until April 30th, 2022 the research vessel BGP Prospector will conduct a geophysical survey at twenty-five nautical miles (25 nm) off the coast of Suriname.

The research area has the following coordinates:

Communication is through VHF channels 16 and 69

Please note:
During the operations, the MV BGP Prospector will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.

Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least five nautical miles (5 NM) from the MV BGP Prospector. The survey vessel will be supported by the MV Geo Service I and MV National Energy Explorer.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
