With reference to NtM No. 29/2024T regarding the sunken pontoon, the public is hereby informed that the wreck at the position (05°00′.786N – 057°17′.639W WGS84) in the Corantijn River is classified as a dangerous wreck and is not visible.
For safety reasons, all ships should approach the area with the necessary caution.
