ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
CHART 2017
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
EXPLORATION DRILLING

With reference to NtM NO.8/2021T, regarding exploration drilling by the drilling rig Maersk Developer, the public is informed that the drilling rig will be moved to the drilling site 07 ° 20′.600 N – 055 ° 57′.100 W (WGS 84). The drilling rig will conduct exploration drilling off the coast of Suriname from May 31st till September 30th, 2021 at this site.

For safety reasons vessels should keep a safe distance of 1000 (one thousand) meters from the drilling rig.
The Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) that will assist during the operations are MV Bourbon Topaz, MV Brad Dartez, MV Felton Tide and MV Delta Monarch.

Please note:
• Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 77.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 1000 (one thousand) meters from the drilling site.
• Maersk Developer is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
