On March 15, 2023, oil spill simulations will be performed along the left bank of the Suriname River near the State Oil Company Suriname N.V. Port Facility between 08:00 AM – 11:00 AM and fifty meters (50 m) away from White Beach between 12:30 PM – 03:30 PM.

For safety reasons, shipping, and other water users should keep a safe distance of at least one hundred meters (100 m) from the locations during the simulation.

Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
