ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
CHART 2017
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
RESEARCH DRILLING

The drilling unit Stena Forth will conduct exploration drilling off the Coast of Suriname from January 15th till March 1st, 2021 at the drilling location 08° 31’.643 N – 054° 37’.190 W (WGS 84).

For safety reasons vessels should keep a safe distance of 500 (five hundred) meters from the drilling unit.

Please note:
• Communication is through VHF channel 16.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 500 (five hundred) meters from the drilling site.
• Stena Forth is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
