BEKENDMAKING AAN DE SCHEEPVAART
VOOR DE KUST VAN SURINAME
EXPLORATIE BORINGEN

Met referte aan BaZ NO.21/2018T, betreffende exploratie boringen voor de Kust van Suriname. Het boorvaartuig ENSCO DS-12 zal van 21 mei tot en met 31 juli 2018 op de boorlocatie 07° 47’.41 N – 54° 54’.90 W (WGS 84) werkzaamheden verrichten.

In verband met de veiligheid wordt de scheepvaart en overige watergebruikers verzocht een afstand van ten minste 500 (vijfhonderd) meters van ENSCO DS-12 te houden.
De Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) die tijdens de uitvoering van de operaties zullen assisteren zijn MV Kudu, MV Springbok, MV Gemsbok en MV Kacey.

Let wel!
• Communicatie geschiedt via de VHF kanalen 16 en 67.
• Er geldt een VEILIGHEIDSZONE van 500 (vijfhonderd) meters van de boorlocatie.
• De ENSCO DS-12 is niet manoeuvreerbaar en zal de relevante tekens tonen.

De scheepvaart wordt verzocht hiermee rekening te willen houden.

ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
RESEARCH DRILLING

With reference to BaZ NO.21 / 2018T, concerning exploration drilling on the Coast of Suriname. The drilling vessel ENSCO DS-12 will operate at the drilling site 07 ° 47′.41 N – 54 ° 54′.90 W (WGS 84) from 21 May to 31 July 2018.

In connection with the safety of shipping and other water users vessels are requested to keep a safe distance of 500 (five hundred) meters of ENSCO DS-12.
The Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) that will assist during the operations are: MV Kudu, MV Springbok, MV Gemsbok and MV Kacey

Please note:
• Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 67.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 500 (five hundred) meters from the drilling site.
• ENSCO DS-12 is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

All ships are requested to take notice of the above mentioned.
