ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAME RIVER- JAGTLUSTBANK
TEMPORARY SECURITY ZONE
Hereby the public is informed that part of the Suriname River from the left bank to the western edge of the fairway located between Courtyard Marriott Paramaribo to SMS pier is temporary considered asa Security Zone where entry as well as anchoring of vessels is prohibited.
The following arrangement applies:
that part of the Security Zone from the Maritime Authority Suriname (MAS) to SMS Pier is in force from Wednesday 19ᵗᵸ of January 18:00 hour till Friday the 21ˢᵗ of January 2022 18:00 hour.
that part of the Security Zone from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries to Courtyard Marriott Paramaribo is in force on Thursday January 20ᵗᵸ, 2022 from 18:00 till 24:00 hour.
The temporary restricted area is indicated by the following coordinates:
