ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SEISMIC RESEARCH
BEFORE THE COAST SURINAME 

With reference to NtM no.23/2014, regarding the seismic geophysical research 65 km (kilometers) near shore of the coast of Suriname, the public is informed that the research activities have been extended till November 30th, 2014.

The research area has been adapted and is bounded by the following coordinates:

Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 71.

Notice!
The vessels will sail in different headings. They are restricted in maneuverability and unable to stop.

For safety reasons a distance of at least 3 (three) nautical miles should be kept from the vessels.
