DREDGING ACTIVITIES DORDT TERMINAL
From 31st of August till 15th of October 2026 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the right bank of the Suriname River at the Dordt Terminal by the dredgers TSHD Mahury and MV Kees Jr.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

The dredging activities will be carried out 24 hours a day.
The dredged material will be discharged from the MV TSHD Mahury through a floating pipeline. The pipeline will be laid perpendicular to the right bank of the Suriname River, between the following positions:

The section of the floating pipeline between Pole 1 and Pole 2 will be adequately secured with poles to prevent any unintended movement of the pipeline. The poles will be clearly visible and fitted with yellow flashing lights (Fl Y).
The dredging vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging. The TSHD Mahury, while connected to the floating discharge pipeline, will likewise be restricted in maneuverability. The dredging vessels will display the necessary navigation lights and day shapes.
Shipping should keep a safe distance of at least 50 meters (50 m) from the dredging vessels and the floating discharge pipeline.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
