OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SEISMIC RESEARCH
From July 28th till November 4th, 2026, the survey vessel MV MINERVA UNO will conduct a seismic survey at seventy to seventy-seven nautical miles (70 – 77 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

For safety reasons, vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the MV MINERVA UNO.
Please note:
- Communication is through VHF channel 16.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the MV MINERVA UNO.
- During the operations, the MV MINERVA UNO will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
