OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
GEOPHYSICAL RESEARCH
From August 1st till September 9th, 2026 the research vessel Kommandor will conduct geophysical research at sixty-eight to ninety-four nautical miles (68 – 94 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the research vessel Kommandor will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the research vessel Kommandor.
- Communication is through VHF channel 16.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
