SURINAME RIVER – DIJKVELDBANK
DREDGING ACTIVITIES VABI JETTY
From 25th till 31st of July 2024 dredging activities will take place alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at the Vabi Jetty (05° 46’.475 N – 055° 09’.156 W WGS84) by the dredgers Parana and Kees Jr.
The dredging vessel Parana will suck up the dredged material from the river bottom. The river bottom will then be leveled by the dredging vessel Kees Jr. The vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
