ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
COTTICA RIVER – BOOMAKKER
UNLOADING OPERATIONS SUNKEN BARGE

With reference to NtM No.35/2014, regarding the sunken loaded barge “K110” in the Cottica river near Boomakker, the public is informed that currently unloading operations are taken place on the barge (position 05°51,9”N 54°38,4”W). The operations will last till Thursday 7th August 2014.

When approaching the area all ships are requested to make contact with the tug boat “Kuldipsingh 02”.  

Communication is through the VHF channels 12 and 16.

For safety reasons, all ships and other users are requested to approach the area mentioned above with caution.
