ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAMERIVER
DOMBURG – PARA RIVER
SWIMMING TESTMARATHON
SHIPPING TEMPORARY PROHIBITED

On Saturday, June 28th, 2014, a Swimming test marathon will be held in the Surinameriver.

The exercise area lies within the fairway of the Suriname river between Domburg
(5° 42’ 07.76” N – 55° 04’ 51.21” W) and the Para river ( 05° 44’ 55. 56” N – 055° 07’ 31.54” W).

Swimmers will be escorted by the vessel “PASISI” and other volunteers.

The section mentioned above will be temporary closed to all shipping between 08.00 AM – 11.00 AM.
