ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAMERIVER
SWIMMING TEST MARATHON

On Sunday, January 19th, 2014 a swimming test marathon will be held in the Surinameriver.

The exercise area lies within the fairway of the Surinameriver, South of Paramaribo between buoy D2 (Marina Durga) and Nieuwe Haven.

Swimmers will be escorted by the vessel “PASISI” and other volunteers.

The section mentioned above will be temporary closed to all shipping between 10.00 AM- 13.00 PM.
