NOTICE TO MARINERS NO. 46/2014
ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
COAST OF SURINAME 
GEOHAZARD SITE SURVEYS AND GEOCHEMICAL CORING  SURVEY

In the period October 18th till November 2nd , 2014 the company Gardline Geosurvey Limited will conduct Geohazard site surveys and Geochemical coring survey in block 52 30 km from the coast of Suriname. The survey area has the following coordinates:

The surveys will be conducted with the vessel “MV Kommandor”. The vessel will drag along 1 (one) seismic cable with a length of 1200 m (meters). At the end of the cable a buoy is fastened. Communication is through the VHF channel 16.
