ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
COTTICA RIVER – BOOMAKKER
SALVAGE WORKS SUNKEN BARGE K110

With reference to NtM no.42/2014, regarding the salvage of the sunken barge “K110” (in position WGS’84: 05°51.9’ N – 054°38.4’ W)  in the Cottica River near Boomakker, the public is informed that the salvage operation will be extended with two weeks until the 20th of October 2014.

Communication with the tug Kutari is through the VHF channels 12 and 74, SSB radio 6310 Hz or by calling mobile phone 8681471.

All ships are requested to approach the area mentioned above with caution.
