Hereby the public is informed that the minimum chart depth (Chart Datum) in the navigation channel at the entrance of the Nickerie River is set at 1.0 m (one meters) and in the navigation channel at the Corantijn River is set at 1.3 m (one and three tenth meters) at low water spring (LWS) on Nautical Chart no. 2766 and corresponding ENCs no. SR402766, SRC2766 en SR5D2766.

The necessary information for the accessibility of ships is included in the Shipping Notice 2024/02 – Nautical Accessibility Nickerie River and Shipping Notice 2024/03 – Nautical Accessibility Corantijn River, which are found on the MAS website https://mas.sr/shipping-notices/.
