OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From the 9th till the 19th of August 2026, the research vessel Dona Jose II will conduct scientific research at fifty-eight to ninety nautical miles (58 NM – 90 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the MV Dona Jose II will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels must maintain a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the MV Dona Jose II during the operation.
- Communication is through VHF channel 16.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
