From 23rd of June till 23rd of August 2026 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at Vensur Jetty by the pontoons Victoria 1 and Victoria 2.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

The dredging activities will take place around the clock. The vessels Victoria 1 and Victoria 2 will be using excavators to remove the dredged material from the river bottom. The dredged material will be dumped on the right bank of the Suriname River at Dijkveld. The vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging and will carry the necessary lights and signs.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
