OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME – ENTRANCE MAROWIJNERIVER
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From March 28th till July 31st, 2023 the survey vessel R/V GYRE will conduct scientific research at a distance of ninety (90 NM) to three hundred and fifty nautical miles (350 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

Please note:
- Communication is through VHF channel 12 and for emergency through 16.
- During the operation the R/V GYRE will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the R/V GYRE.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
