DREDGING ACTIVITIES
JULES SEDNEY PORT AND OLIESTEIGER JETTY
From the 28th of February till the 10th of April 2025 dredging activities will take place alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at Jules Sedney Port and the Oliesteiger jetty with the dredger MV Parana and MV Kees Jr.
The working area at the Jules Sedney Port is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

The dredging activities will take place around the clock. The dredged material will be dumped on the western side of the entrance of the Suriname River outside the navigation channel. The vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging and will carry the necessary lights and signs.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
