OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From June 11th till July 1st, 2024, the research vessel MV Proteus will conduct scientific research at one hundred eighteen to one hundred twenty-eight nautical miles (118 – 128 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area has the following coordinates:

- During the operations, the MV Proteus will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least half a nautical mile (0.5 NM) from the MV Proteus.
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
