ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

ENTRANCE SURINAME RIVER
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS

From 23rd till 27th November 2020 hydrographic surveys will be conducted daily from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm in the estuary of the Suriname River with the survey vessels MARWINA and PASISI.

The survey area is bounded by the following coordinates:

G            05° 59′.059 N   055° 12′.844 W
H            06° 03.848 N   055° 12′.743 W

The survey vessels Marwina and Pasisi will be restricted in maneuverability during the surveys and will navigate at a speed of approximately 4 (four) knots.

Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships and other users should take notice of the above mentioned.
