ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

ENTRANCE SURINAME RIVER
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS

From 14 till 17 October 2020 hydrographic surveys will be conducted in the estuary of the Suriname River with the survey vessel MARWINA daily from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.

The survey area is bounded by the following coordinates:

D              05° 56′.508 N  055° 10′.864 W

G             05° 59′.059 N  055° 12′.844 W
H            06° 03.848 N   055° 12′.743 W

Marwina will be restricted in maneuverability during the surveys and will navigate at a speed of 4 (four) knots.

Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships and other users should take notice of the above mentioned.
