ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SURINAME RIVER
FAIRWAY CLOSED

In connection with the annual speech of the President of the Republic of Suriname, on Tuesday 29 September 2020, the river section including the navigation channel between the Maritime Authority Suriname (5°49.592’N – 55° 8.630 ‘W and 5° 49.044’N – 55° 8.509’W) and
the SMS jetty (5°49.440’N- 55° 9.229’W and 5° 49.034’N – 55° 9.222’W) will be closed for
shipping from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm except for international cargo ships.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
