ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAMERIVER – DIJKVELD BANK
DREDGING ACTIVITIES

At the Vabi Jetty (position 05° 46’ 28.52” N – 055° 09’ 09.37” W) on the Surinameriver, dredging operations are currently carried out until April 9th 2014 at daytime. The dredged material will be discharged on the Dijkveldbank at position 05° 45’ 46.90” N – 055° 07’ 29.51” W.

The vessels which carry out the activities are:

• Towboat Seacrust1 barge with S-29 and
• Towboat No Frede with barge Orleana.

Communication is through the VHF channels 12 and 16.

All ships are requested to take notice of the above mentioned.
