ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
CORANTIJN RIVER CHART 2766
BUOY CM5 TO MAC CLEMEN ISLAND
HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYS

From 22nd till 26th August 2021 hydrographic surveys will be carry out in the navigation channel of the Corantijn River by the survey vessel Marwina. The survey area is from three-kilometer (3 km) south of buoy CM5 till three-kilometer (3 km) north of Mac Clemen Island.

The survey area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:
       Latitude         Longitude
A 05° 56’.195 N  057° 06’.536 W
B 05° 37’.017 N  057° 09’.556 W

The surveys will be conducted daily from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm. The Marwina will be restricted in maneuverability during surveys.

Commu nication is through the VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
