DREDGING ACTIVITIES TOUT LUI FAUT JETTY

From 16th to 30th April 2021 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at the “Staatsolie Tout Lui Faut Jetty” by the TSHD (Trailing Suction Hopper Dredger) Elbe.

The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS ‘84:

Dredging will be done by a suction hopper dredger, which will suck the dredged material from the river bottom. The dredger will dump the dredged material on the western side (06° 3’.287 N– 055° 13’.247 W) of the entrance of the Suriname River outside the navigation channel.

The operations will take place daily between 07.00h – 19.00h.
The TSHD Elbe will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging. The vessels Martijn Eva, Dieni en Rodeur will assist during the operation.

Communication is through the VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
