ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SEISMIC RESEARCH

From March 28th till October 31st, 2021 the survey vessel FUGRO BRASILIS will conduct a seismic survey at sixty-three nautical miles (63 NM) off the coast of Suriname. The research area has the following coordinates:

Communication is through the VHF channels 13,16 and 68.

Please note.
During the operations, the FUGRO BRASILIS will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.

Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from the FUGRO BRASILIS.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
