ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SURINAME RIVER, DIJKVELDBANK
INFRASTRUCTURAL ACTIVITIES DE MOLEN

From 18th till 31st January 2021, infrastructure works will be carried out along the left bank of the Suriname River near De Molen N.V.
The vessels involved are the Tugboat Ramdoel 1 and a pontoon.

The working area is indicated by the following coordinates:

A.             05° 47′.763 N   055° 09′.792 W
B.             05° 47′.766 N   055° 09′.730 N
C.             05° 47′.678 N   055° 09′.721 N
D.             05° 47′.677 N   055° 09′.739 N

For safety reasons, shipping and other water users should keep a distance of at least fifty meters (50 m) from the working area.

Communication is via VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
