ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
CHART 2017
EXPLORATION DRILLING

The drillship Noble Sam Croft will conduct exploration drilling off the Coast of Suriname from April 10th till June 30th, 2020 at the drilling location 07° 27’.952 N – 056° 07’.282 W (WGS 84).

For safety reasons the shipping is asked to keep a safe distance of at least 1000 (one thousand) metres of Noble Sam Croft.
The Offshore Support Vessels (OSV) that will assist during the operations are Southern Tide, States Tide, Troms Hera and Polaris.

Please note:
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 1000 (one thousand) metres from the drilling site.
• Noble Sam Croft is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

Communication is through VHF radio on all international channels on the frequencies 149.3 to 163.75 MHz and through the MF on the frequencies 1.6 to 30 MHz.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
