ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC
SURINAMERIVER NEAR CAROLINA
CAROLINA BRIDGE PASSAGE

With reference to NtM no.27/2014, the public is informed that the passage of the Carolina Bridge in the Suriname River is narrowed to sixteen (16) meters with a safe depth of two (2) meters at low water spring. The passage is between the two red buoys (positions 05° 27’ 06.401” N – 54° 59’ 39.501” W and  05° 27’ 06.117” N – 54° 59’ 39.363” W) on the west side and the green buoy (position 05° 27’ 06.259” N – 54° 59’ 38.798” W) on the east side.

All ships are only allowed to pass the Carolina Bridge at daytime between 06:00 h and 18:00 h.

All ships are requested to take notice of the above mentioned.
