OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From the 17th of May till the 30th of June 2025, the research vessel MV Doña Jose II will conduct scientific research at seventy-one to eighty-five nautical miles (71 NM – 85 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research area is indicated by the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the MV Doña Jose II will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels must maintain a safe distance of at least a two-thousand meters (2000 m) from the MV Doña Jose II during the operation.
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
