OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH
From June 20th until August 15th, 2024, the research vessel MV Proteus will conduct scientific research in Block 64, 6 and 8 at respectively one hundred and forty nautical miles (140 NM) and forty-five nautical miles (45 NM) off the coast of Suriname.
The research areas have the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the MV Proteus will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least thousand meters (1000 m) from the MV Proteus.
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
