With reference to NtM NO.61/2022T, regarding exploration drilling by the drill ship Maersk Valiant, the public is informed that she will be moved on 18^th December 2022 to the drilling site at 07° 19.37’N – 055° 52.59’W (WGS 84). The drill ship will conduct exploration drilling off the coast of Suriname from 18^th December 2022 till 31^st March 2023.

For safety reasons vessels should keep a safe distance of 500 (five hundred) meters from the drillship.

 Please note:

• Communication is through the VHF channels 16 and 77.
• There is a SAFETY ZONE of 500 (five hundred) meters from the drilling site.
• Maersk Valiant is not maneuverable and will display the relevant characters.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
