From October 19^th 2022 to August 19^th 2023, dredging work will be conducted in the channel of the Suriname River. The dredging area is from the entrance of the Suriname River to Dijkveld.

Dredging will be carried out by the vessels MV Crestway, MV Delta Queen, MV Argus, and MV Crest. The dredging vessels will have limited maneuverability during dredging and will carry the necessary signs and lights.

For passage in the fairway direct communication with the dredging vessel and the Vessel Traffic Control of the MAS is compulsory.

Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
