OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
DEPLOYMENT OF MOORINGS
From the 19th till the 25th of March 2026, scientific instruments will be placed at seventy-six to one hundred nautical miles (76 NM – 100 NM) off the coast of Suriname by the- MV Dona Jose II.
The instruments will be located approximately 150 meters below the water surface and anchored to the seabed.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates:

Please note:
- During the operations, the MV Dona Jose II will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels should keep a safe distance of at least three nautical miles (3 NM) from the MV Dona Jose II.
- Communication is through VHF channel 16.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
