SURINAME RIVER – PARAMARIBO
DREDGING ACTIVITIES JULES SEDNEY PORT
From the 5th till 6th of December 2024 dredging activities will take place alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at Jules Sedney Port by the dredgers MV Parana and MV Kees Jr.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

The dredging activities will take place around the clock. The dredging vessel Parana will suck up the dredged material from the river bottom. The river bottom will then be leveled by the dredging vessel Kees Jr. The vessels will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
