CABLE LAYING
BETWEEN ELLEN AND JOHAN AND MARGARETHA
From July 27th till August 7th, 2024, infrastructure work will be carried out in the Commewijne River between Ellen and Johan and Margaretha from the pontoon Rashad with push tug Rayna for the laying of an underwater power cable. During the cable laying, divers will be present and will carry out diving work in the installation area from two small vessels.
The working area is indicated by the following coordinates in WGS 84:

Please note!
- During the laying of the underwater cable the pontoon Rashad with push tug Rayna will be restricted in maneuverability and will display the relevant characters.
- Vessels must keep a safe distance of at least a hundred meters (100 m) from the pontoon and the installation area.
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
