From May1^st  to June 10^th, 2024 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of the Suriname River at “De Molen Port Facility” (position 05° 47’.675 N – 055° 09’.720 W) with the vessel Parana, assisted by MV Kees jr.

Dredging will be done by a Trailing Suction Hopper, which will suck the dredged material from the river bottom. The vessel Parana will be restricted in maneuverability during dredging.

Communication is through VHF channel 12.

All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
