DREDGING ACTIVITIES VABI JETTY
From 3rd to 9th March 2022 dredging activities will be conducted alongside the left bank of
the Suriname River at “Vabi Jetty ” (position 05? 46’.475N – 055? 09’.156W) with the vessel
LESSE.
Dredging will be done by a Trailing Suction Hopper, which will suck the dredged material
from the river bottom. The vessel LESSE will be restricted in maneuverability during
dredging.
Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above mentioned.
