ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE SHIPPING TRAFFIC

SURINAME RIVER – PARANAM
SHIP TO SHIP TRANSFER
From the 20th till 27th March 2026, ship to ship transfer will take place near the Paranam anchorage area, at position 05° 36′.889 N – 055° 04′.250 W (WGS 84). Cement clinkers will be transferred from the MV ALYCIA to the pontoons KE1001, KE1004, KE1005, KE1006 and KE1007, and will be assisted by the tugboat KULDIPSINGH 01 and push boat KULDIPSINGH 02.
The vessels will be limited in maneuverability during this operation.
Communication is through VHF channels 12 and 16.
All ships should approach the above-mentioned area with the necessary caution and reduce speed when passing.
