OFF THE COAST OF SURINAME
MAINTENANCE WORK SUBMARINE CABEL
From the 03rd till 8th of March 2024, maintenance work will be carried on the submarine cable off the coast, at ninety-four nautical miles (94 NM) northern off the Suriname River by the maintenance vessel Wave Sentinel at the location 07° 24’.965N – 056°04’.715W (WGS84).
Please note:
- The Wave Sentinel has restricted maneuverability and shall display the relevant characters.
- Vessels must maintain a safe distance of at least one nautical mile (1 NM) from Wave Sentinel.
- Communication is through VHF channel 12.
All ships should take notice of the above-mentioned.
